The conference is the third in a series of international meetings for active researchers and engineers concerned with heat transfer enhancement and energy conservation. It's aimed to be a forum for the vigorous exchange of experiences gained during practical operation and theoretical analysis of enhanced heat transfer and energy conservation.

This symposium will provide the latest information on the status of the research, development and application on heat transfer and energy conservation. It will also establish basis for identification of the areas for further research and development. The conference will select some of the best papers from conference proceedings for final publication in the J. Enhanced Heat Transfer， Energy, or Chinese J. of Chemical Engineering.

This symposium will be jointed together with the 2003 Annual Symposium of China State Major Basic Research Project: "Key Scientific Problem in High Efficiency Energy conservation", which was approved in 2000.

CONFERENCE LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference will be English. The oral presentations and papers should be in English.
